Information Systems
Graduates of the study programme Information systems will gain an advanced knowledge of computer science and will be able to work in different levels of management in software companies, industrial enterprises, in the educational system, in public as well as private sectors banking, transport, health, ecology, etc.
They are able to design, develop, implement, expand, adapt and localize large extensive systems. Moreover, according to specialization
-
they have the knowledge necessary for building sophisticated decision support systems involving not only optimization but also the processing of uncertain data
-
they are competent to work as application software developers, systems analysts and programmers
-
they are able to design, develop, implement, expand and adapt large-scale information and communications networks
They gain profound knowledge in the field of information systems, enabling them to manage teams of workers in this area, as well as lead large projects and take responsibility for complete solutions.
They obtain knowledge mostly in the field of computer science but also of the business systems to the extent necessary not only to allow them to flexibly adapt to labor requirements in these organizations and job market but also to run a business in the field of informatics.
In addition, they gain experience with hypothesis formulation, experimental design, verification of hypotheses and analysis of the recieved data. Graduates can build a scientific perspective in a variety of information applications, in which they apply advanced methods and techniques of design and development of information systems.
Management
As follow-up to their level of knowledge gained in their previous studies, the graduates of the Management programme acquire specific knowledge from different functional areas of management. In terms of content is this degree of study equivalent to a MBA(Master of Business Administration).
Graduates of masters study can analyze enviroment of the the socio-economic and social processes and propose ways to address them.
They are able to implement this proposals to computing using existing methods and models and available software. In doing so, they can communicate with professionals in technical and programming part of computer science. Analytical and design work can be carried out by the graduate with a high degree of creativity and independence. Emphasis is given on gaining profound knowledge in the field of management, allowing a graduate to manage teams of workers in this field, lead large projects and take responsibility for complete solutions.
Computer Engineering
Graduates of Computer Engineering programme are prepared to continue postgraduate study or to enter a practical professional life, which they find particular application in developing and designing computer systems and networks, development of digital systems, system programming and operation and management of computer systems. They are ready to solve theoretical and application tasks associated with the creation and design of digital systems based on microprocessors and programmable custom circuitry, which allows them to work in position of independent researchers, developers, designers, as well as technologists in the process of research, development and production management, measurement, diagnostic and large-scale computer systems.
