A look back at the final round of the third annual 3D printing competition
At the end of March, the final round of the 3D PRINTING competition took place at the Faculty of Management and Informatics at UNIZA. A total of 13 finalists made it to the competition finals. The final challenge was to design a vessel capable of carrying a cargo of screws. This vessel had to navigate a designated course without sinking. In addition to functionality, the judges evaluated the creativity of the design, the quality of the execution, and the presentation of the final result to the judging panel.

The high school students bravely tackled this task in the finals, and the committee highly praised the presentations of the final outputs. After tallying the points from all evaluation categories, the results of the final round of the FRI 3D Printing Competition were ceremoniously announced.
1st place – Konrád Račko, SPŠE Š. A. Jedlíka and Business Academy, Nové Zámky

2nd place – Sebastián Blaško, Queen of Peace United School, Žilina
