EPLAN Certificate Award Ceremony 2026
Students at the Faculty of Management and Informatics at the University of Žilina have once again demonstrated that high-quality technical education goes hand in hand with practical experience. Graduates of the course 6BE0005 “Design of Electrical Engineering Systems for Industry” successfully completed a demanding program focused on the design and implementation of modern electrical engineering solutions.
During the semester, they mastered the professional EPLAN tool, which is an industry standard. In addition, the students met the legal requirements for professional competence and received an electrical engineer certification in accordance with Sections 21 and 22 of Decree No. 508/2009 Coll. of the Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs and Family of the Slovak Republic.
The students received their Eplan certificates from the Dean, Prof. Ing. Emil Kršák, PhD., and the representative of Eplan, Ing. Daniel Pisco.
The combination of practical skills, working with modern tools, and meeting the professional requirements of the job market makes the course graduates well-prepared professionals who are able to immediately engage in real-world industrial projects.
At the same time, we would like to thank Assoc. Prof. Ing. Michal Hodoň, PhD., from the Department of Technical Cybernetics for advancing the field of electrical systems design for industry in the curriculum at our faculty.
