A few days ago, we successfully held the EverGreen Multiplier Event at Stredná odborná škola informačných technológií in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia, bringing together vocational secondary school pupils and teachers to explore the role of green data analysis in modern education and practice.

The programme opened with a welcome and an introduction to the Faculty of Management Science and Informatics (UNIZA), followed by a presentation of the EverGreen project, highlighting its mission to make data analysis more inclusive and sustainable.
Participants then dived into:

SQL and practical data analysis techniques

A hands-on workshop focused on developing data-driven applications, including data analysis, visualization, and processing
The event concluded with an open discussion, reflections, and key takeaways, reinforcing the importance of sustainability, digital skills, and collaboration between universities and vocational education.
