Machine Learning Summer School @UNIZA 2026
The Faculty of Management and Informatics at the University of Žilina in Žilina invites students, doctoral candidates, researchers, and industry professionals to the Machine Learning Summer School @UNIZA, which will take place September 14–18, 2026.
The five-day summer school will focus primarily on modern methods of machine learning and deep learning and their practical application in solving real-world problems. The program will consist of specialized lectures and hands-on workshops led by experts from both academia and industry.
The main thematic areas will include applications of deep learning in NLP, transportation, energy, cybersecurity, medicine, computer vision, and other fields.
The summer school is intended for participants who already have at least a basic knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, and Python.

The summer school builds on the research activities of the project "Research and Development of Advanced Artificial Intelligence Solutions for Cyber Threat Detection and Defense Against Sophisticated Attacks," which aims to develop advanced artificial intelligence solutions for detecting cyber threats. Participants will thus gain an overview of modern machine learning methods and their practical application in areas that are among the project’s main research topics.
