Missing Maps Mapathon Žilina #22
The 22nd Missing Maps Mapathon in Žilina will take place at the Faculty of Management and Informatics, University of Žilina, in room RB054, as well as online via Microsoft Teams on Thursday, May 14, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The Mapathon is open to the general public and admission is free. Together, we will use satellite imagery to create a digital map for the humanitarian organization Doctors Without Borders. If you have no experience with remote mapping, don’t worry. You’ll learn everything on-site. After a short training session on the iD Editor, you’ll be able to map on your own. We also warmly invite experienced mappers who no longer need training and just want to map undisturbed.
