Our colleague received the prestigious “IT Student of the Year” award
On September 24, the civic association “Aj Ty v IT” in Bratislava held a ceremony to announce the winners of the prestigious “Woman in IT” award.
The IT Student of the Year award went to our successful graduate of the Applied Informatics doctoral programme, Ing. Linda Blahová, PhD., who, during her studies, researched how AI can assist in the evaluation of mammograms and improve the diagnosis of microcalcifications.
Linda currently works at the Department of Informatics, where she is teaching the courses Medical Informatics and Informatics 3 this winter semester.
We warmly congratulate Linda on receiving this prestigious award and wish her much continued success not only in the fields of IT and research, but also in her personal life.
