Presentation of the winning VIRA student project at the European Parliament in Strasbourg
After winning a European hackathon in Paris, Filip Šefčík, a student in the Applied Network Engineering program, along with his international team, was invited on May 20 to present their VIRA project directly at the European Parliament in Strasbourg during the Mai à Vélo (May on a Bike) conference.
Their project, focused on more eco-friendly, safer, and more accessible mobility, caught the attention of experts in the fields of transportation and infrastructure, and the team had the opportunity to present their solution to European specialists and representatives of major institutions.
We are very pleased that students from our faculty are able to succeed at the international level and represent their university in such a prestigious setting.
We are immensely proud of Filip and his European team and wish them every success in their future projects and challenges!
