The ARCH-ed Excellence Project at the Faculty of Civil Engineering
The Erasmus+ project ARCH-ed Excellence (No. 101184526), focused on developing skills in sports management and coaching in horseback archery, visited the Faculty of Management and Informatics during its fourth meeting.

We prepared interesting workshops for partners from Finland, Poland, and Slovakia. The first of these was led in the OMiLAB laboratory by Ing. Martin Mičiak, PhD., and Ing. Dominika Toman, PhD. (KMNT), with the theme “Community and Membership Base Development through the Modeling of Management Processes.”

The meeting was also attended by students who, as part of their faculty internship, prepared the materials and workshop outputs.

The next workshop, on the topic “Modern Technologies in the Production of Quivers for Horseback Archery,” was led by Ing. Lukáš Čechovič, PhD. (KTK). In addition to a demonstration in the laboratory, participants were able to try out the practical application in the relaxation area behind the faculty building.

As part of the visit to Slovakia, the project’s closing event took place at the SMICEE – Sports Management in Central & Eastern Europe conference, whose main theme—the development of grassroots sports—was closely related to the project’s topic.

Project participants, together with student Mário Krížek, who is addressing this issue in his thesis, presented a poster and established valuable contacts that will help further the progress of their organizations.
