The OSSConf 2026 conference is coming up next week
We cordially invite you to the next edition of the OSSConf conference, whose main goal is to provide an informal gathering for enthusiasts of open-source software and open technologies. OSSConf isn’t just about academic presentations—it’s a space for friendly discussions, sharing new discoveries from the world of open source, exchanging practical experiences, and finding solutions to technical challenges.
This year, we’re placing special emphasis on issues related to artificial intelligence. We’re interested in:
- The very structure of AI and the challenges of machine learning.
- The practical applications of AI, particularly in the educational process.
As part of the conference, we will open an informal discussion on the future of AI in education. We want to exchange honest opinions and share our practical experiences to date. We therefore especially welcome the participation of teachers from all education levels on this topic.
We have prepared the following topics for participants:
- TeX, R, and their friends (C, Lua, Python, gnuplot, and others)
- Open AI
- OSS in Education (GeoGebra, wxMaxima, R, Python...)
- Open Hardware & Cybersecurity
- OSS Development
- Open GIS & Open Data
- Citizen Science
