The Faculty of Management and Informatics at the University of Žilina in Žilina is committed to ensuring the accessibility of its website in accordance with Act No. 95/2019 Coll. on Information Technologies in Public Administration and on Amendments to Certain Acts, as amended (hereinafter referred to as “Act No. 95/2019 Coll. on ITVS”) and the relevant implementing regulations.

Compliance Status
This website is partially compliant with Act No. 95/2019 Coll. on ITVS and the relevant implementing regulations, given the non-compliant elements listed below.
The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:
1. Non-compliance with Directive (EU) 2016/2102 on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies:
- Some images or icons do not have alternative text (Success Criterion: 1.1.1 Text Alternatives)
- Some audio files do not have a text alternative. (Success Criterion: 1.2.1 Separate audio and separate video)
- Some videos do not have captions (Success Criterion: 1.2.2: Captions)
- Some videos do not include audio descriptions or text alternatives for the video (Success Criterion: 1.2.3 Dynamic multimedia elements)

- Some forms contain status messages that cannot be targeted by assistive technologies [Success Criterion 4.1.2 Status Messages]
2. Non-compliance with Slovak generally binding legal regulations governing standards for the accessibility of websites and mobile applications:
- The date of the last update is not listed on the website; only the date the page was created is provided (Section 15(k) of UPVII Decree No. 78/2020 on Standards for Public Administration Information Technology)
- Some text documents do not comply with [Section 19(b) of UPVII Decree No. 78/2020 on Standards for Public Administration Information Technology]
- Some documents on the website are in .pdf format and are scans that do not meet the required criteria [Section 18(d) of UPVII Decree No. 78/2020 on Standards for Public Administration Information Technology].
Due to undue burden within the meaning of Article 5 of Directive (EU) 2016/2102, it is not possible to ensure the conversion of scanned documents into another format, or the creation and completion of audio or text descriptions for all videos or audio recordings.

The assessment of the website’s compliance with the requirements of Act No. 95/2019 Coll. on ITVS and the relevant implementing regulations was conducted through self-assessment.
