IT Pro

From students' point of view the framework and schedule will be the same as earlier years. ITPro will follow the academic year, so studies begin in the end of August 2017. The students need to complete at least 15 ECTS of studies, 30 ECTS of practical training and 15 ECTS of Bachelor's thesis in order to get the Finnish Bachelor's degree. Please also remember that because Finnish Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering includes 240 ECTS, and students must have 180 ECTS or more ICT related studies before they start ITPro studies here in Finland.

The students will be full time students from September until the end of December 2017. Practical training and Bachelor's Thesis will be at any time between September 2017 and May 2018. Mostly those will be done during Spring semester. Students should be active and find the place for the practical training for five months. The school of ICT has currently two big projects going on with companies, and we offer possibility students to attach to those projects. It is also possible for the students to make some studies in the spring semester while the practical training period.
Please note that Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences cannot guarantee a practical training place in private companies, so students are responsible for finding their practical training places.
