The Faculty of Management and Informatics at the University of Žilina (FRI UNIZA), in collaboration with CODIUM, has opened a renovated RB003 laboratory, specifically designed for network technology studies. This modern space combines cutting-edge technology and innovative design to prepare students for careers in this dynamic field.

The laboratory, created in cooperation with Codium, a member of the ZAIT cluster, offers capacity for 30 students, modern multimedia equipment for hybrid learning, and the opportunity to acquire both practical skills and theoretical knowledge.

At the opening of the laboratory on November 18th, Dean of the Faculty Emil Kršák emphasized the importance of cooperation with companies and the necessity of modernizing education to prepare graduates for future technological challenges. According to Codium CEO Martin Varmuša, this project strengthens ties between the university and the IT sector in the region and supports innovative development. According to the head of the Department of Information Networks, Pavol Segeč, the laboratory represents a combination of software and hardware technologies, modern design, and a practical approach to teaching, which will help students prepare for professional challenges in the field of information and network technologies.
