Researchers from Faculty of Management Science and Informatics take part at ICT Proposer´s Day 2016 in Bratislava.
ICT Proposers' Day 2016 in Bratislava, Slovakia on 26 and 27 September is a networking event promoting European ICT Research & Innovation and focusing on the Horizon 2020 Work Programme for 2016-17.

Assoc. Prof. Peter Márton took part in meeting of EURNEX association. EURNEX, the EUropean rail Research Network of EXcellence, is an association representing European institutional scientific knowledge, research and education.
During meeting, on Monday 19th 2016, at Technical University of Berlin, topics of future activities, e.g. project proposals for H2020, were discussed.
Faculty of Management Science and Informatics is active member of EURNEX association from summer 2016. University of Žilina is founding member of EURNEX association, in frame of 6FP research project.
Our colleagues - Mr. Peter Paluch, Mr. Ondrej Skvarek and Mr. Pavel Segec - were awarded as Experts in frame of Instructor Excellence Award of Cisco Networking Academy program, for year 2015.

Cisco Networking Academy CNA&ITC Žilina was founded in 2000. It is in position of Instructor Training Center too (from 2011).

ISTROBOT 2016 contest took place in Bratislava, Faculty of electrical engineering and information technology, Slovak university of technology in Bratislava, at April 23rd.
Our doctoral student Michal Chovanec, from Department of Technical Cybernetics, won the 1. place in cathegory "Stopár L2" (sleuth level 2).
ISTROBOT contest is competition of autonomous robots that will complete the racing tracks and negotiate all its pitfalls.

Do not hesitate and apply for 2-months practical stage at Keimyung College University (KMCU) and Yeungjin College (YJC) in Daegu, South Korea. During your stay , financed by the grant from EU - ICI Korea SMILES project (up to 1500 EUR for transport , 2000,- EUR for subsistence ), four selected students will be given possibility to learn at KMCU the basics of Korean language, learn about the Korean culture and customs and undergo practical training in the labs of YJC. The activity will take place from 26.6. till 20.8.2016. The necessary conditions for successful application are:statute of FRI ŽU student, good knowledge of English, availability to help during the reciprocial stay of Korean students in Zilina in June 2016.
