Dizertačná práca je zameraná na oblasť ľudského kapitálu s cieľom vytvoriť model posudzovania efektívnosti tohto kapitálu pre dosiahnutie vyššej výkonnosti a posilnenie konkurencieschopnosti podniku na trhu. Vypracovanie dizertačnej práce je založené na analýze, komparácii a syntéze teoretických poznatkov v danej oblasti v prepojení na výsledky minulých výskumných projektov skúmajúcich ľudský kapitál a jeho manažment. Ďalej je v práci opísaný výskumný problém, cieľ, výskumné hypotézy a uplatnený metodologický postup vypracovania práce. Obsahom nasledujúcej časti sú výsledky realizovaného výskumu, ktoré sú podkladom vytvorenia modelu posudzovania efektívnosti ľudského kapitálu a súboru odporúčaní pre jeho implementáciu v praxi. V závere sú definované prínosy dizertačnej práce pre vedu a prax manažmentu a pre vysokoškolskú výučbu. The dissertation thesis is focused on the field of human capital with the aim to create a model for the assessment of the effectiveness of this capital that helps achieve higher performance and strengthens the competitiveness of an enterprise in the market. The elaboration of the thesis is based on the analysis, comparison and synthesis of pieces of theoretical knowledge within the studied field, in connection to the results of past research projects dealing with human capital and its management. Further, there is a description of the research problem, aim, research hypotheses, and the methodological approach applied. The content of the next chapter consists of the results of the research conducted, representing a foundation for the creation of the model for the assessment of the human capital effectiveness and a set of recommendations for its implementation in practice. In the end, the contributions of the thesis within the science and practice of management and within the process of higher education are defined. Key words: Human capital.
